CBOE Readies Management Automation
CHICAGO-In order to automate its application and infrastructure management, and stem the loss of institutional memory, the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) is using two products from IT and business service management provider BMC Software.
The CBOE has decided to license BMC Atrium Configuration Management Database (CMDB), which is designed to link IT processes together through a common repository with graphical, business-relevant views into the IT infrastructure. It also has licensed the BMC Service Impact Manager (SIM) product, which enables business service management (BSM) through real-time business-aware information about IT services and infrastructure.
